Thermovent T ™ Heat and Moisture Exchanger (HME) Thermovent T is a sterile, single-use heat and moisture exchanger that provides effective humidification for spontaneously breathing patients whose upper airways are bypassed by a tracheal or tracheostomy tube. These devices are used to: - Treat adult or pediatric patients with a tidal volume of more than 70 mL - Reduce heat loss through the bronchopulmonary tree. - Help to prevent thickened secretions and changes in lung function.
